Senior backend engineer with 8+ years of experience designing and building distributed, high-availability systems in Go, PHP and Node.js. Throughout my career, I have contributed to every phase of the software lifecycle, from greenfield development to the ongoing evolution of large-scale legacy systems, with deep expertise in microservices architecture, event-driven systems (NATS, Pub/Sub, SQS) and API communication via gRPC and REST.
Currently at Sword Health, I develop and maintain backend services for digital healthcare products deployed globally, serving patients across multiple international markets. My work spans Go, Node.js and Laravel services running on multi-region Kubernetes infrastructure, with a consistent focus on reliability, observability (New Relic, OpenTelemetry) and continuous delivery.
As a technical reference within the team, I drive architectural improvements and partner with Product Managers and cross-functional squads to ship high-impact solutions. I am expanding my technical frontier with a postgraduate program in Machine Learning Engineering at FIAP, deepening expertise in models and intelligent systems. In my engineering workflow, I adopt AI-assisted development, using Claude Code with a spec-driven methodology as a core practice.
